Andy Schmookler announces ‘game-changer’ press conference

Sixth District Democratic Party congressional nominee Andy Schmookler had called the first press conference of his campaign. Schmookler will speak in three different locations on Aug. 2, and will make an announcement about his campaign at each location.

Schmookler will start the day at the Supervisors Chambers in Harrisonburg at 10 a.m.. He will continue on to stops in Lynchburg, where he will speak at the base of Monument Terrace at 1 p.m., and Roanoke, where he will speak at City Council chambers at 3:30 p.m.

“The time has come for me to make the biggest announcement of my campaign so far, one we hope will be a game-changer” Schmookler said.

Andy Schmookler is running to represent  Virginia’s Sixth Congressional District on a platform of “government for the people, not just the powerful few.”

Schmookler is an award-winning author and radio talk show host, and has lived in the Shenandoah Valley for twenty years.
