Chris Graham

salvation armyThe Salvation Army Waynesboro welcomes the Waynesboro community to a concert on Tuesday, May 14, at 7 p.m. at the Wayne Theatre. Reserved seating is available online, and guests pay what you will.

“We appreciate the support from our friends, neighbors, and the business community of Waynesboro, especially around the Christmas holiday, but we have a real need to assist individuals and families throughout the year,” said Gail Adams, Chairperson of the Waynesboro Advisory Board.  “The theme of this third annual concert ‘Need Knows No Season’ was chosen to remind us all that people are hurting, and they need a hand 365 days a year.”

Providing support for the event for the third year in a row is Waynesboro musician Jimmy O, who will perform with The Jimmy O Band for the concert. Other local musicians will perform.

“Through donations received for tickets, sponsorships, and money collected at the concert, The Salvation Army will be able to provide life-saving services to hungry, homeless and hopeless families and individuals without discrimination in Waynesboro,” said Lt. Timothy Jo with The Salvation Army.
