Waynesboro Police seek help ID’g suspects in check cash ring

Check Ring SuspectsThe Waynesboro Police Department is requesting assistance from the community to help identify several subjects who are suspected to be involved in a check cashing ring in the Waynesboro area.

The male suspect in the case is described as being in his mid-30s with a slender build.   The male suspect is also described as speaking broken English and may possibly be Hispanic. He has cashed numerous fake work paychecks drawn on several fictitious utility companies and has used the name “Ferdinand Rodriguez” on the majority of the checks.

He is possibly driving a dark green or black Honda sedan (possible photo attached). On two occasions, he has been accompanied by the females in the attached photo as well.

If anyone has information as to the identity of this individual, please call the Waynesboro Police Department at (540) 942-6675 to speak with Sergeant Robert Luzader or call Central Shenandoah Crime Stoppers at (800) 322-2017.

Anyone who gives information that leads to an arrest of the offender can receive a cash reward.
