odu logoOld Dominion University director of athletics Dr. Wood Selig announced Wednesday that season tickets for the 2015 football home season have sold out for the seventh straight year.

The Monarchs open their 2015 home schedule on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. against cross-town neighbor Norfolk State. ODU fans purchased all 13,744 seats available this year for season tickets at Foreman Field at S.B. Ballard Stadium.

Football was reinstated on the Old Dominion campus in the fall of 2009, and Monarch fans have sold out all 41 home contests at Ballard Stadium, which has a seating capacity of 20,118. This season, all seven home games will be broadcast nationally by either Fox Sports or the American Sports Network.

“Our coaches and players are continually grateful for the support we receive from the most loyal fan base in the country,” says ODU Head Football Coach Bobby Wilder. “Their support is not something we take for granted, despite still being the only program in the history of college football to sellout every home game we have ever played. As I have said many times before, we don’t win at home without our 12th Monarchs and that was never more evident than last year when we won two of our home games in the last seconds.”

The Monarchs host three games in a row, beginning with Norfolk State, followed by N.C. State on Sept. 19 and the first visit of a Power-Five school to Ballard Stadium, and Appalachian State on Sept. 26. ODU returns home to host C-USA rival Charlotte for Homecoming on Oct. 17, pre-season C-USA favorite Western Kentucky on Oct. 31, UTEP on Nov. 14 and closes the season on Nov. 28 against Florida Atlantic.

Single game tickets remain available for the games on Sept. 26, Oct. 17, Oct. 31, Nov. 14 and Nov. 28. There are no tickets available for the Norfolk State and N.C. State contests. Individual game tickets are available at www.YNottix.com, by calling 877-YNottix, or at the Constant Center box office.
