The I Am Not A Loan campaign and students from the University of Virginia have launched an online campaign asking donors to register their disappointment with the University of Virginia, after its governing board made a decision to cut funding from the school’s financial aid program, AccessUVa.

The VMI Keydets took full advantage of five turnovers and 13 penalties by the Gardner-Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs, and led wire to wire in a 27-9 Keydet win in Big South football action Saturday afternoon in Lexington. The victory came in VMI’s final Big South football game, prior to next year’s jump to the Southern Conference.

North Carolina jumped out to a 14-0 first quarter lead, and broke away with a pair of return touchdowns, en route to a 45-14 thrashing of reeling Virginia on Saturday. UNC (4-5, 3-3 ACC) won its third straight in 2013 and its fourth straight in the series with UVa., which has now dropped seven in a row this season after a promising 2-1 start.

The UVa. baseball team released its 2014 schedule on Tuesday (Nov. 5). The Cavaliers will play 34 home games as part of their 55-game schedule. Virginia’s schedule includes 34 contests against 15 teams that won at least 30 games a year ago, including 22 games against 10 programs that advanced to the 2013 NCAA Tournament.
