The Shenandoah Valley Art Center in Waynesboro has been asked by the city to help brighten up the South River Greenway.

SVAC has been tasked with creating a mural on a large concrete pole on the newly improved greenway.

SVAC has a design and paint but is looking for a handful of volunteers to bring the vision to life. While the design is relatively simple, there is room for some creative flair.

Work will begin on Sept. 25.

Painting should take two to three days.
