ICE thugs executed a 37-year-old ICU nurse in front of a donut shop in Minneapolis on Saturday morning, for the crimes of filming their actions, trying to protect a woman who had been shoved to the ground by one of the thugs, and being a licensed gun owner.

Alex Jeffrey Pretti – registered nurse, no criminal record – was shot 10 times after being taken to the ground by a group of seven federal thugs, one of whom had violently thrown a woman to the ground as they made their way down the street in front of the donut shop, at approximately 9 a.m. local time on Saturday.

What happened

From the video evidence, it was the assault of the unidentified woman that triggered the situation.

Pretti, who was filming the approach of the thugs with his phone, stepped in to intervene, and became the focus of the thugs, acting as a pillaging mob.

The thugs swarmed Pretti, took him to the ground – video shows his hands empty and on the pavement – and then you hear a rapid fire of shots ring out.

It’s been pointed out that Pretti, who was a licensed gun owner, and on top of that, had a concealed-carry license, did not have the gun he legally owned and was licensed to carry in a public setting in his hands as any of this was going on.

The Department of Homeland Security, which is not to be trusted on this, or, sadly, anything, at this point, issued a statement claiming that Pretti had approached the ICE thugs “with a 9-mm semi-automatic handgun,” which is a sign that the people responsible for the statement ran it by a lawyer.

If a man with a concealed-carry permit is lawfully carrying a 9-mm semi-automatic handgun in a holster, and he’s moving, and the direction in which he is moving coincides with the proximity of an ICE agent, he’s technically approaching ICE agents with a 9-mm semi-automatic handgun.

But he’s not a threat, and the presence of the 9-mm semi-automatic handgun in his holster is not a legal justification for shooting him 10 times.

“The officers attempted to disarm the suspect, but the armed suspect violently resisted,” the DHS statement continued, and you can see for yourself, no – just, no.

He’s not “violently” doing anything, other than being “violently” manhandled by federal thugs.

“Fearing for his life and the lives and safety of fellow officers, an agent fired defensive shots,” the DHS statement went on.

No!

This being the United States – for the moment, anyway – citizens still hold certain inalienable rights, and among them are the right to film public law-enforcement actions; and then there’s the right to bear arms, which so many of you from the MAGA side of the cultural fence, hate-reading this because it’s interrupting your victory lap over the latest dead libtard who just got owned by the thugs you voted into existence, exercise quite freely.

Your side is giving away the game there.

Your whining about the Second Amendment wasn’t about our right – our, as in, first person plural – to bear arms; it was about your right, on the one side, exclusive to that one side, to bear arms.

Speaking to the adults in the reading audience again, it’s funny how the fake patriots over there crowed about their Second Amendment rights because they said they need guns to be able to fight back against a possible tyrannical government.

Renee Good, shot in the face, after following an agent’s orders to move her SUV; Alex Pretti, shot in the head for filming dirty cops and trying to stop them from beating a woman in front of a f**king donut shop.

If that’s not tyrannical, what is?

“How many more residents, how many more Americans, need to die or get badly hurt for this operation to end? How many lives need to be lost before this administration realizes that a political and partisan narrative is not as important as American values?” Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey said at a press conference after the shooting.

Will somebody finally stand up?

Frey was the guy who, two weeks ago, after the murder of Renee Good, delivered the pointed message to the DHS – “get the fuck out of our city.”

Our Seventh District congressman, Eugene Vindman, is channeling that sentiment, calling for “massive nationwide resistance to this lawlessness” in the aftermath of the Alex Pretti shooting.

“Watch the video. This looks like a fucking execution by armed thugs – this is not what our country stands for. Local law enforcement needs to immediately investigate and hold those responsible accountable,” Vindman said.

If you’re offended by the language, innocent people are getting shot by federal thugs; be offended at that.

The execution-style murder of Alex Pretti came roughly 36 hours after a group of seven spineless U.S. House Democrats helped Republicans pass a spending package that will give ICE another $10 billion to carry out violence against us in our streets.

Those seven – Henry Cuellar, D-Texas, Don Davis, D-N.C., Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, D-Wash., Jared Golden, D-Maine, Vicente Gonzalez, D-Texas, and Laura Gillen and Tom Suozzi, D-N.Y. – need to resign, now, and slink back into private life, to live out the rest of their days in shame.

The funding bill they helped keep moving forward now goes to the U.S. Senate, where it better have no chance.

Tim Kaine, D-Va., the most likely to cave, because he likes to be viewed as being bipartisan, signaled on Friday that he wasn’t on board with the additional ICE funding, though, really, all it would take would be a half-assed overture from Majority Leader John Thune to schedule a vote on something that Thune would know good and damn well wouldn’t pass to get Kaine to reconsider.

Mark Warner, D-Va., who is up for re-election this year, no doubt feels immediate pressure to not go along to get along.

“Trump’s endless empowerment of federal immigration agents has resulted in yet another senseless killing. This brutal crackdown has to end. I cannot and will not vote to fund DHS while this administration continues these violent federal takeovers of our cities,” Warner said.

That’s probably not going far enough, given where we are.

“The Department of Homeland Security is murdering American citizens. Congress cannot allow that to continue. Getting these people out of Minnesota, and cutting off funding, should be a minimum response,” Eighth District Congressman Don Beyer said.

Beyer for U.S. Senate in 2026, how ‘bout?

Seriously, we’re thisclose to this being a storm the gates and dragging mother**kers out into the streets moment, and Mark Warner can only go as far as, well, I can’t vote for DHS funding until, whatever, whatever?
