Staunton: Sixth season of Shop & Dine Out Downtown kicks off April 4

Shop & Dine Out in Downtown returns Friday, April 4 for season No. 6, and Staunton residents and visitors are encouraged to enjoy an expanded outdoor experience all weekend.

Beverley Street will be closed to vehicles from Lewis Street to Market Street every weekend beginning April 4 at 4 p.m. until Monday at 7:30 a.m. through October 2025. Cross streets will remain open to traffic.

On certain holiday weekends (Memorial Day on May 26; Labor Day on Sept. 1; and Indigenous Peoples’ Day/Columbus Day on Oct. 13), closures will be extended through Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. Special events may also require adjustments to the regular schedule. Changes will be announced on the city’s website.
