Special art opening at the Staunton Augusta Art Center

staunton augusta art centerThe Staunton Augusta Art Center will serve as the host of a collaborative art exhibition which opens on the second floor of the Smith Center on Friday, May 6, 6-8pm.

The juried show titled Art: the Road to Recovery will feature recent works by consumers of mental health services.

Event partners include:
Western State Hospital
National Alliance on Mental Illness
Mental Health America of Augusta
Commonwealth Center of Children & Adolescents
Shenandoah Art Therapy.

The exhibit will be up through May 28. Call the Art Center at 540-885-2028 for available hours to view the exhibit, Monday-Saturday.
