MBC theatre presents “Quilters”. 7:30 p.m. Fletcher Collins Theatre, Deming Fine Arts Center, 301 Deming Drive, Staunton. Quilters by Molly Newman and Barbara Damashek. Directed by Terry Southerington. Combining music, dance, and vivid storytelling, this music plays eloquent tribute to the courage and spirit of American pioneer women. Based on the book The Quilters: Women and Domestic Art by Patricia Cooper and Norma Bradley Allen, the human patchwork of trails and joys is mirrored in the traditional patterns of quilts fashioned by Sarah and her six daughters. Show times are 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday in the Fletcher Collins Theatre, Deming Fine Arts Center. Tickets are $12 for adults, $7 for all students, MBC faculty and staff, and seniors. For more information and to reserve tickets, visit www.mbc.edu/arts/theatre or call 540-887-7189.
