Major League Fishing announces event on 2025 schedule in Richmond

major league fishing Richmond will host the 2025 Tackle Warehouse Invitationals, a Major League Fishing event that has been announced on the tour’s 2025 schedule.

The June 20-22, 2025, event will showcase 150 top pro anglers competing for hundreds of thousands of dollars in purse money and valuable points to qualify for an invitation to compete in the 2026 Bass Pro Tour.

“We love when Major League Fishing anglers are competing on the James River,” said Jerrine Lee, the vice president of sales at Richmond Region Tourism. “Our community is proud to welcome back Major League Fishing with the Tackle Warehouse Invitational next year. Our region is a world-class destination for fishing and competitors can expect some great catches.”

MLF Tackle Warehouse Invitational anglers will compete over three days in a five-fish, weigh-in format. In addition to lucrative prize money, the winner of each of the six Invitationals on the tour’s schedule will receive an invitation to compete in Redcrest 2026, Major League Fishing’s most prestigious tournament.

All three days of competition from each event will be broadcast live on MLFNOW! and streamed to the Major League Fishing app, MyOutdoorTV (MOTV) and Rumble apps, and at MajorLeagueFishing.com.
