Living on the edge: Community conversation on Aug. 19 to address homelessness

A community conversation titled “Living on the Edge of Homelessness” will be offered on Monday, Aug. 19, at 6 p.m. at Kate Collins Middle School in Waynesboro.

The event is presented by Building Bridges for the Greater Good.

The discussion will center around understanding the challenges and learning how to support neighbors in need.

Participants include:

  • Dr. Ryan Barber, Waynesboro City Schools
  • Lydia Campbell, Valley Community Services Board
  • Hunter McMillan, Waynesboro Area Refuge Ministries
  • Banita Teixeira, Virginia Department of Veterans Services
  • AJ and Adrienne Young, River City Food Basket and LIFEworks Project

Kate Collins Middle School is located at 1625 Ivy Street in Waynesboro.
