Free Tax Assistance at Waynesboro Senior Center

Contributors

Waynesboro Senior Center is very pleased to host AARP Tax Aide again this year. This program uses trained volunteers to provide free income tax preparation to low and moderate income individuals of all ages.

The IRS provides yearly training, testing and certification for all the volunteer tax counselors. This service will be provided at our location on Monday afternoons, Tuesday mornings, and all day on Wednesdays from February 4th through April 16th. They operate by appointments, but will take walk-ins as time permits. Individuals can call 540-941-3259 for an appointment, from 9 a.m. to 8p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Clients are told at the time they make an appointment what records to bring with them. You do not have to be a senior to benefit. This program serves all low to moderate income persons regardless of age.
