tv-clipartIf you have ever wanted to appear on the small screen, this may be your chance!  There will be an open casting call for background players for Point of Honor, an ABC Signature & Amazon Studios pilot directed by Randall Wallace, who directed Secretariat and wrote the screenplay for Braveheart and wrote and directed Heaven is for Real.

Point of Honor is filming in the Central Virginia area this September.  The Open Call is being held on Friday at 5:30 p.m. at The Bankuet Place, 1124 Bainbridge Street, Richmond.

Casting director Erica Arvold says, “Extras are an imperative part of filmmaking, they add to the atmosphere and fabric of the show. We always look for new faces and encourage those who are available and interested to attend the open call.”

Arvold Casting is seeking background players, especially physically fit men ages 18-40 with military/marching training to be part of a core group of soldiers for this Civil War drama.  They are also seeking men with missing limbs to portray wounded soldiers and African American men, women and children, as well as Caucasian women with long naturally colored hair.

Those who are unable to attend the Open Call on Friday may submit on-line.  Instructions can be found at this link: http://arvoldcasting.com/casting-calls/point-of-honor-television-pilot-background/

More information can be found on Arvold’s website www.arvold.com.
