Waddell_Brandon_15MUVA junior lefty Brandon Waddell shut out Florida on two hits in seven-plus innings Monday night. He gets a chance to repeat those efforts tonight in a do-or-die game for the Cavs.

Waddell (4-5, 3.86 ERA) will get the start for Virginia in its game with the Gators on Saturday. The winner faces Vanderbilt in the CWS Championship Series that begins Monday.

Waddell combined with Josh Sborz on the two-hit shutout of Florida on Monday.

Dane Dunning (5-2, 3.88 ERA) will get the start for Florida, which defeated Virginia, 10-5, on Friday to force the deciding game.
