Art for Gifts opens at Staunton Augusta Art Center on Nov. 14

staunton augusta art centerThe Big Elf is checking his list right about now, so ’tis the season for the Staunton Augusta Art Center Art for Gifts!

The Staunton Augusta Art Center’s annual boutique, Art for Gifts, opens Friday evening, November 14, 2014, 5-8pm with refreshments and live Christmas music by singer/songwriter John Tracy.   The exhibit/retail sale will be open every day throughDecember 31 with extended hours: 10am-6pm Monday-Saturday and 1-4pm Sunday (closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day).

The event will showcase art and craft by 70 artists and artisans, of which 23 are new to the event this year.  There is no admission charge to visit the galleries which are located in the R.R. Smith Center for History and Art at 20 S. New Street in historic downtown Staunton across from the New Street public parking garage.  Staunton Augusta Art Center members are entitled to a 10% discount throughout the show and sale.
