CHRISTMAS SCHEDULE
Refuse collection regularly scheduled in Staunton for collection on Thursday, December 25, 2014 (Christmas Day) and Friday, December 26, 2014, will instead be collected on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 (Christmas Eve). No recycling will be collected on the regularly schedule dates or the alternate date. Recycling collection will resume the following week, on the regular collection schedule.
Customers are reminded that recycling may be taken to the remote site located at the football stadium parking lot in Gypsy Hill Park.
Downtown Central Business District (CBD) customers will receive refuse collection on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 (Christmas Eve) and Saturday, December 27, 2014, as normally scheduled.
NEW YEAR’S SCHEDULE
Refuse and recycling collection regularly scheduled for collection on Thursday, January 1, 2015 (New Year’s Day) will instead be collected on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 (New Year’s Eve).
Downtown Central Business District (CBD) customers will receive refuse collection on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 (New Year’s Eve) and Saturday, January 3, 2015, as normally scheduled.
CHRISTMAS TREE PICKUP
Christmas trees will be collected on Wednesday, January 7, 2015. Please place trees at the curb no later than7:00 a.m. on that date.
