McAuliffe TV ad highlights bipartisan efforts to create jobs

Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe’s campaign released a new ad Tuesday, “That’s Why,” featuring Independent Republican and former Del. Katherine Waddell highlighting Terry McAuliffe’s commitment to working with Republicans, Democrats, and independents to grow Virginia’s economy and create jobs in the Commonwealth.

“Terry’s number one priority as governor will be to grow and diversify Virginia’s economy. As governor, Terry will bring legislators and stakeholders from all sides of the issues together to find mainstream solutions to the challenges our economy faces,” said McAuliffe spokesperson Josh Schwerin.

Delegate Katherine Waddell: I’m an independent Republican and former member of the Virginia House of Delegates.

I’m looking for a governor who will focus on jobs and the economy. That’s why I’m supporting Terry McAuliffe.

Terry will work with Republicans, Democrats, and Independents to make smart decisions about our future. Terry is the candidate who has a plan to create jobs, and he has the experience to make it happen. That’s why I’ll be voting for Terry McAuliffe for governor.
