snow-plow-headerThe Central Shenandoah Valley is under a Winter Storm Watch beginning late Tuesday night with the potential for significant snow accumulations into the day on Wednesday.

Local areas in locations in Augusta and Rockingham received anywhere from a dusting to an inch of snow from a weather system that moved through the region on Monday. The National Weather Service, in issuing the Winter Storm Watch for late Tuesday through late Wednesday, is saying that there could be significant snow and ice associated with the next storm.

Temperatures are expected to be in the upper 20s when the system makes its way into the area late Tuesday and remain in the upper 20s/lower 30s area throughout the day on Wednesday.
