UVa.-Carolina tickets on sale Jan. 20

Single-game tickets for the Virginia men’s basketball game against North Carolina on Saturday, Feb. 25, at John Paul Jones Arena go on sale Friday, Jan. 20, at 9 a.m. online at VirginiaSports.com.  Fans can purchase tickets to this game in-person or by telephone beginning Monday, Jan. 23, at 9 a.m.  All single-game tickets for Virginia’s match-up with North Carolina are available in upper level seating areas at four price levels: $15, $20, $25, and $32.

A pre-sale opportunity is currently underway for Virginia Athletics Foundation donors and 2011-12 Virginia men’s basketball season ticket holders.   VAF donors and men’s basketball season ticket holders may purchase single-game tickets to the Virginia-North Carolina game in advance of the public.  Fans eligible to participate in the pre-sale opportunity received an email with ordering instructions.  Eligible fans may also call the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-542-UVA1 to place their order. 

Single-game tickets for Virginia’s six home games other than the match-up with North Carolina are on sale now.   The Cavaliers host ACC rivals Virginia Tech (Jan. 22), Boston College (Jan. 26), Clemson (Jan. 31), Wake Forest (Feb. 8), Maryland (Feb. 18), and Florida State (March 1).  Tickets for each of these games are also available in upper level sections at four price levels: $15, $20, $25, and $32.

The Wahoo Mini-Package is also on sale and provides the best value for five of Virginia’s remaining home games against ACC opponents: Boston College (Jan. 26), Clemson (Jan. 31), Wake Forest (Feb. 8), North Carolina (Feb. 25), and Florida State (March 1).  The Wahoo Mini-Package is currently offered at three price levels: $65, $90, and $110.

Fans may purchase single-game tickets online at VirginiaSports.com, by telephone by calling 1-800-542-UVA1 (8821) or locally at 434-924-UVA1 (8821) or in-person at the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium.  The Athletics Ticket Office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
