The Virginia Department of Transportation has scheduled an overnight left lane closure for northbound Interstate 81 in Shenandoah County between mile marker 273 and 275. This closure is expected to take place from 8 p.m. Thursday, August 20, until 7 a.m. Friday, August 21.

The right lane of southbound Interstate 81 near mile marker 200.5 in Rockbridge County is scheduled to close from 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 19, until 6 a.m. on Thursday, August 20.

The Virginia Department of Transportation has scheduled lane and ramp closures along Interstate 81 between mile markers 174 and 311 during the week of August 17-21.

Overnight left lane closures are scheduled for Interstate 81 northbound near the West Virginia state line on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, July 28-29, from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.

Paving operations will continue on northbound Interstate 81 between exit 227 and the Middle River bridge, between mile markers 228 and 237 for crossover paving, and at the ramps at exit 235 in Augusta County.

Motorists should be alert for overnight left lane closures this week on northbound Interstate 81 near the West Virginia state line. These closures are scheduled for the nights of July 20-22 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.while crews to clean up a fuel spill in the median along the West Virginia portion of I-81.

Paving operations will take place on northbound Interstate 81 between exit 227 and the Middle River Bridge and at the ramps at exit 227, exit 235 and the rest area at mile marker 233 in Augusta County.

Overnight lane closures are scheduled to take place this week on Interstate 81 northbound and southbound in Frederick County between mile marker 309 and 311 near Winchester.
