On Saturday, June 15, volunteers for the Virginia Consortium of Quilters will hold a Documentation and Discovery Day at the Augusta County Historical Society, located in the R.R. Smith Center for History and Art at 20 S. New Street in Downtown Staunton.

The popular Building the Machine web and marketing business series from Augusta Free Press is being offered in Downtown Waynesboro in June. The Building the Machine curriculum is aimed at small business and nonprofits looking to build a marketing, social media and public relations strategy.

A fundraiser will be held at The Meating Place in Staunton on May 17 and May 18 from 8am to 4pm. Funds will go towards Ride With Pride, a non-profit organization that offers a therapeutic horseback riding program for children and adults with special needs. There will be hamburgers, hotdogs, breakfast food, homemade goods, and more.

He discovered the group at the last Waynesboro Chili, Blues and Brews Festival and was impressed by the response of the audience that did not want them to leave the stage. The May performance of Mojo Saturday nights is at 8 pm on May 18. Doors opening at 7:30pm.
