Sophomore guard Aliyah Huland El (Randolph, N.J.) also shot 70.0 percent from the field, making seven of her 10 attempts against NJIT. Huland El had her fifth double-digit scoring performance of the year, contributing 17 of the Virginia bench’s 34 points in the game. In addition to making seven baskets, Huland El also contributed four assists, giving her a role in 11 of Virginia’s 33 makes in the game.

Bowling Green went 1-1 last week, winning 74-56 over Evansville before falling on Saturday to Cleveland State, 69-48. Just one Falcon, fifth-year senior Lauren Tibbs, has a double-digit scoring average.
