A water main break is impacting both pressure and volume in the area of Rosser Avenue in Waynesboro.

Residents and businesses may experience issues over the next six to eight hours while repairs are under way, according to the city.

The affected homes and businesses include:

  • Lucy Lane – 116 (Walmart)
  • Brandon Ladd Circle – All properties
  • Pratts Wood Lane – All properties
  • Ridgeline Drive – All properties
  • Rosser Avenue – Odd side 1221–1835
  • Rosser Avenue – Even side 1124–1136
  • Sunbird Lane – All properties
  • Springdale Road – All properties
  • Tiffany Drive – Odd side 325–437
  • Tiffany Drive – Even side 400–436

City staff will visit businesses in the area to provide direct updates.

Residents and businesses in the general vicinity should limit water use while repairs are under way to help maintain system pressure for everyone.

Discolored water may occur following a water main break. Once full pressure returns, the city recommends running cold water in your bathtub or an outdoor spigot for three to five minutes to clear your lines.
