Heather Craddock, currently the assistant principal at Westwood Hills Elementary School, has been appointed assistant principal at Waynesboro High School.
Craddock, a former special education teacher and U.S. Army veteran, will begin her tenure at WHS on Monday, Oct. 20.
The Western Kentucky University alum has a master’s from the University of Phoenix, and is working toward completing doctoral work at Liberty University in 2026.
“As an educator and leader, I believe in the power of relationships, communication, and compassion,” Craddock said. “I am honored to join the Waynesboro High School team and excited to support our students and staff as we continue building a positive, restorative, and achievement-focused school culture.”
“Heather’s experience as both an administrator and educator reflects a deep commitment to student success and staff support,” Waynesboro Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Jeffrey Cassell said. Her leadership, compassion, and consistency will serve Waynesboro High School well as she joins Principal Bryan Stamm and assistant principals Megan Fitzgerald and Joshua Herndon in leading the school community.”
