Sen. Warner campaign ad emphasizes record of bipartisanship

Chris Graham

The Senator Mark Warner re-election campaign today released an ad, “Stronger”, in which Sen. Warner emphasizes his efforts to reach across the aisle and find common ground.

“We all know Washington is broken. But to fix it, it takes people who are independent and willing to work across the aisle. That’s what I’ve tried to do in business, as your Governor, and in the Senate,” says Sen. Warner in the ad. “Because it’s the only way we’re going to solve big problems. Like cutting our national debt, fixing the V-A or bringing good jobs to Virginia.”

During his first term, Sen. Warner has emerged as a bipartisan leader in the Senate’s sensible center. A consensus-builder, Sen. Warner has successfully passed legislation which demands more transparency and accountability in federal spending. He is recognized as a bipartisan leader in promoting innovation, strengthening small businesses and encouraging startups. Senator Warner has proposed specific, commonsense solutions to make college loans more manageable, and he’s been a tireless champion for Virginia’s military men and women, our veterans and their families.

The following newspapers have endorsed Senator Mark Warner for re-election: The Danville Register & Bee, Daily Press, Loudoun Times-Mirror, The Washington Post, and The Virginian-Pilot.

Senator Warner closes by saying, “It’s been a great honor to represent you. And if you re-hire me, I’ll work every day to make Virginia even strong
