Pothole repairs on Interstate 64 will continue Thursday

Chris Graham

interstate 64Crews will continue patching potholes on Interstate 64 on Thursday following the President’s Day winter storm. The mobile work will occur in both directions between mile marker 99 on Afton Mountain and mile marker 143 (Route 208 exit) in Louisa County.

Between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., traffic will be reduced to one lane through the mobile work zone. If congestion develops, crews will periodically remove the work zone to allow vehicles to clear.

Motorists should be alert for slow-moving vehicles and may experience minor delays as they approach the work zone.
