Staunton Police announced six arrests of local men caught up in a recent online solicitation of minors sweep.
A release from the Staunton PD noted that the department is a member agency of the Southern Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
No detail was provided in the release as to the nature of the specific allegations.
The arrests
- Ryan Botkin, 34, of Staunton: one count of online solicitation of a minor under 15, one count of attempted indecent liberties with a minor
- Jesse Bush, 58, of Elkton: two counts of online solicitation of a minor under 15, one count of attempted indecent liberties with a minor
- Bayron De Paz-Lopez, 31, of Staunton: nine counts of online solicitation of a minor under 15, one count of attempted indecent liberties with a minor
- Santos Bautista Molina, 40, of Charlottesville: nine counts of online solicitation of a minor under 15, one count of attempted indecent liberties with a minor
- Michael Moats, 63, of Waynesboro: two counts of online solicitation of a minor under 15, one count of attempted indecent liberties with a minor, one count of possession of a controlled substance
- Damian Noyes, 50, of Waynesboro: 20 counts of online solicitation of a minor under 15
