One lane closed on southbound Route 29 in Albemarle County

Tree removal work will close the southbound right lane on Route 29 (Seminole Trail) in northern Albemarle County today from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

During this period, a contractor of Dominion Virginia Power will remove a dying poplar tree located between Route 1719 (Towncenter Drive) and Route 1520 (Hollymead Drive).

Motorists should keep left and expect minor delays during work hours.
