Donors side with guy who called Trump a ‘pedophile protector,’ was suspended from job

The GoFundMe universe is supporting the guy who called Donald Trump a “pedophile protector” during a presidential photo-op at a Ford plant in Dearborn, Mich., on Tuesday, and was subsequently suspended from his job, because of course that would happen.

At this writing, two GoFundMe campaigns created to back TJ Sabula, a 40-year-old UAW 600 line worker at a Ford F-150 plant, have raised more than $244,000.

“I don’t feel as though fate looks upon you often, and when it does, you better be ready to seize the opportunity, and today, I think I did that,” Sabula told local media after the incident, which led to entirely predictable consequences all the way around.

It was obvious, once video started circulating of the interaction between Sabula and Trump, who responded to the callout from the constituent with a raised middle finger, and mouthing the words “f*ck you,” twice, in Sabula’s direction, that this would result in a political and media circus.

That, at the top, Ford would at the least would suspend Sabula.

“One of our core values is respect, and we don’t condone anyone saying anything inappropriate like that within our facilities,” Ford spokesperson Dave Tovar said in a statement. “When that happens, we have a process to deal with it, but we don’t get into specific personnel matters.”

I’d say I feel bad for Dave Tovar having to issue a mealy-mouthed statement on this on behalf of Ford, but, that’s the job, and guys like Dave Tovar are paid a lot more than guys like TJ Sabula, doing actual work on the front lines.

And then, that we’d get a dumb comment from the White House.

It’s a rare treat that the dumb comment in question comes from Steven Cheung, the college dropout who used to shill for UFC.

“A lunatic was wildly screaming expletives in a complete fit of rage, and the President gave an appropriate and unambiguous response,” Cheung said, in defense of the Dear Leader, oblivious to his own reality.

Cheung is the son of Asian immigrants – Asian via Hong Kong and Japan.

He was fortunate to have been born here, but ol’ Stevie Boy fits the profile of anchor baby that the Project 2025 types would denaturalize in a second, given half the chance.

Epstein Files

America needs fewer people like Steven Cheung, and more like our new hero, for the moment, TJ Sabula, who said in media interviews that he identifies as a political independent, never voted for Trump, but has voted in the past for other Republicans.

He estimated in interviews that he was 60 feet away from Trump, and that the president could hear him “very, very, very clearly.”

“As far as calling him out, definitely no regrets whatsoever,” Sabula said, and note, that was before the GoFundMe activity.

Which is why he said he was concerned about the future of his job, and that he would be “targeted for political retribution” for “embarrassing Trump in front of his friends.”
