The Virginia Chili Blues & Brews Festival returns to Downtown Waynesboro on Saturday, Sept. 21.

The event, now organized and operated by the Wayne Theatre, runs from noon to 9 p.m. at Lumos Plaza and includes live music, chili and brews.

The live music includes Mojo Parker Express, the Kurt Crandall Band, Linwood Taylor and The Nighthawks.

Chili competitors will cook up their best recipes, and attendees will have the opportunity to taste the chili, while it lasts, and vote for their favorites.

In addition to the chili competition, the festival will host food vendors and exhibitors.

A variety of local craft beers, wines and other beverages will available for purchase throughout the day.

General admission includes access to all live music performances, the chili tasting and the beer garden.
