Each participant has passed the application round and attended the eight- week Business Planning Course with the Staunton Creative  Community Fund.

The Bright Rewired Pitch Night will feature five-minute pitches from each participant.  Three judges will evaluate the pitches and the business concept  and have an oppor- tunity to ask questions after each pitch.  The community is invited to offer suggestions and support.

The Bright Rewired business plan competition invites entrepreneurs wishing to open a business in the Downtown or Newtown districts of Staunton, Virginia to apply for grants that will be awarded up to $10,000 to open or expand a new business.

Applicants will be required to present their idea at a Public Pitch Night on May 21, submit their business plan on May 27 and attend the BRIGHT REWIRED Awards, where the grants will be awarded on June 17.
