Augusta County: Harrisonburg resident dead after vehicle hits pillar, catches fire

A crash in Augusta County on Mill Race Road killed a 27-year-old Harrisonburg resident on Wednesday night.

The fatal crash, at approximately 9:40 p.m., claimed the life of Camden R. Wolfe, 27.

Wolfe died at the scene, according to Virginia State Police.

Wolfe was traveling westbound in a Hyundai Kona in Verona, east of the intersection with Route 11, when the vehicle went off the left side of the road and struck a pillar. The vehicle then caught fire.

The crash remains under investigation.
