Feeling footloose and fancy-free after a long time? Maybe it’s time for you and your folks to hit the great open road take you where it takes you, soak in the wonder and awe of waking up in strange towns surrounded by adventure every morning! But this spontaneous road trip spirit has also got to match with the perfect road travel plans, and we think we know just what it takes– rent an RV by these companies!

You can carry all of your world and the closest people in an RV, be it a crazy family adventure or tripping with a bunch of friends, and RV rental trips cut down on a big chunk of hotel stay expenditures too. Plus, none of that headache to plan everything to the dot!

The High, Low, and Shoulder Season for RV Rental

The one thing that you have to get right about renting RVs though, to make the most of the investment is- the timing. The high season costs for rental are usually just the same as all through the rest of the year, but ancillary costs like rates for parks and sites can shoot up. Also, you will find the choicest destinations more crowded. The low season, on the other hand, is super-appealing in terms of rental rates and tickets for parks but the unfavorable weather in the low season will limit your options for most places.

It’s usually the sun shining summers and springtime that are considered high season for RV tripping, in the winter, the days are shorter and the weather volatile as well as a lot of tourist attractions don’t stay open, making it a low time for traveling in an RV.

What we call the Shoulder Season for RV rentals falls right during the closing days of spring and the beginning of fall. This is a window RV road-tripping enthusiasts can explore to bag a combination of attractive prices and great weather.

Budget-friendly RV Trip Planner for—

April

Drive your home on wheels to the Rocky Mountain National Park. The area has four camping grounds that allow RVs. There also are several parks in the gateway towns like the Estes Park located 3.5 miles from the national park’s Beaver Meadows entrance and PAradise on the River, located a mile away from downtown Estes. You can find WiFi, cable, showers, and laundry in many of these camping spots in the ripe month of April.

Other options for enjoying the summer splendor of April driving in your RV include Wyoming’s Indian Campground in Buffalo, Virginia Lodge RV Resort in Jackson, Colter Bay Village Campground in Grand Teton National Park just to name a few.

Heading out in your RV towards Boston, Massachusetts holds great prospects during April too. Baseball fans will have a gala time participating in the unadulterated Fenway experience.

April is also the season of the beautiful Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington D.C., somewhere you can RV your way up and park in scenic spots like the Harmony Lake RV Park or Lake Pleasant RV Park.

May

Summer happens in full swing during May in Charleston. You can find rings of Magnolia hanging overhead, sweetening up the air. Indulge in the warmth and candor of typical southern hospitality in these parts around Charleston, South Carolina at beautiful RV venues like the Lake Aire Campground, the green and soothing James Island County Park, the Oak Plantation Campground, and others. You can find full hook-ups in most of these grounds, with pets allowed provision and pools and showers too!

During May, you are also going to find the Grand Canyon National Park in the best form. Fewer tourists are the biggest draw around this time. We suggest camping in the South Rim of the Park. It has a campground with full hook-ups, named Trailer Village. If you feel like extending your road trip, coast up from Arizona, crossing through the southwestern border of Utah to venture in the Bryce Canyon National Park.

Other attractions in May going low on RV tour expenses can be made to San Diego for the Flower Fields of Carlsbad, to Orlando for a massive tour of the Disney World, in Portland, Oregon, and for an art walk in the Millennium Park among a bunch of other destinations that stand out.

September

September is magical in Cape Cod, Massachusetts when the summer crowds have receded and the beaches are great to take a swim. It’s that kind of place that’s also steeped in rich American history with a string of museums lining the coasts dedicated to the nation’s forefathers. It’s a rare joy to park along the shoreline and sit on the roof of your RV, looking at the lighthouse flickering in the distance. The best spots to RV in Cape Cod include Peters Pond and Maple Park Campground, both complete with hook-ups, pool, hot tub, and showers.

Other places to explore on your RV during the peak of fall in September are– New Orleans and Shenandoah National Park. You don’t want to come here in the humid summers but this time around the year is perfectly welcoming!

October

In October, winter has just arrived in Colorado Ski Country and the best snow experience is awaiting adventurers. RVers have a good chance to bagless expensive deals during this time and escape the usual Ski Country crowds too.

Another place to save for October RV exploration is Yellowstone National Park. During this time, all the wild beasts come out to play!

Life on the road RVing to these exquisite destinations with just the right deals is as amazing as an adventure can get. Have a happy trip to you all!
