Lynchburg Police | Vehicle rolls over with three children inside

A 33-year-old man was injured after his vehicle rolled and ran over him with three children inside.

Christopher Justus Jr., of Lynchburg, was transported to Carilion Roanoke Hospital in critical condition today; the children were not injured.

The incident occurred at 11:57 a.m. in the 6000 block of Rhonda Road in Lynchburg.

The Lynchburg Police Department and Lynchburg Fire Department responded to the accident on private property.

Justus had reportedly been attempting to free his vehicle after it became stuck, and during the attempt, the vehicle rolled and ran over him.

The Lynchburg Police Department did not release the type of vehicle.
