A portion of Route 608 (Draft Avenue) in the Stuarts Draft community of Augusta County will close to through traffic for approximately 48 hours starting Wednesday morning, May 21.

Through traffic will use the posted detour as follows:
•Northbound drivers will take Route 608 (Draft Avenue/Cold Springs Road) south, Route 656 (Offliter Road) west, continue straight onto Route 657 (Indian Ridge Road), and then turn north on Route 340 (Stuarts Draft Highway) to return to Route 608 and the end of the detour.
•Southbound drivers will take Route 608 (Draft Avenue) north, Route 340 (Stuarts Draft Highway) south, Route 657 (Indian Ridge Road) east, continue straight onto Route 656 (Offliter Road), and then turn north on Route 608 (Cold Springs Road/Draft Avenue) to the end of the detour.

Route 608 is scheduled to reopen Friday morning, May 23.
