Hospice of the Piedmont has your ticket to discounts at restaurants, theaters, wineries and breweries as well as advice for starting a meaningful conversation with loved ones.
The nonprofit organization is offering The Book: A Guide to Local Cuisine, Culture & Meaningful Conversation for purchase at a cost of $60.
The printed coupon book offers buy-one-get-one-free entrees, free theater tickets and half price wine tastings.
It also includes thoughtful conversation starters designed to spark meaningful discussions with family and friends about life and its final journey.
“So much of life happens around the dinner table, at a winery with friends or on a night out at the theater,” said Jenn Downs, chief marketing and development officer at HOP. “We wanted to give people a way to enjoy those experiences while encouraging people to have the kinds of conversations that truly matter.”
“For 45 years, Hospice of the Piedmont has helped our community through some of life’s most difficult moments. But we also want to help people reimagine how they think about the end of life. The Book is an invitation to share meaningful moments and maybe even start conversations that we often put off,” said Downs.
Deals are valid from March 1, 2025, to Feb. 28, 2026.
Sales benefit Hospice of the Piedmont, a community-based nonprofit for patients with serious illness and their families during the final months of life. HOP offers grief and bereavement services and serves residents in Albemarle, Augusta, Buckingham, Culpeper, Fauquier, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Madison Nelson, Orange and Rappahannock counties, as well as the cities of Charlottesville, Waynesboro and Staunton.
