- GPA is derived by summing up all grade points that you’ve incurred divided by the total number of credit time period received.
- Credit hours for full time and part-time classes differ. Always remember part-time classes will have lesser points compared to full hour classes.
- The credit hours points can vary from 1 to 5.
- GPA provides a grading scale A, B, C, D, F, and each grade is given points. A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1, F=0.
- If you’ve taken a class that contains three units and you scored A, then 3 is multiplied by 4 and 12 is your score or grades. Along with that you take a class that provides 4 units and you’ve scored C in it, then 2 is multiplied by 4 to give 8 grade points in your score.
