The Paramount announces Manhattan Short Film Festival lineup

ParamountThe 22nd annual Manhattan Short Film Festival announces its full line-up of short films to be presented at The Paramount Theater on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 7 p.m.

The line-up includes, “Nefta Football Club by Yves Piat (France), “Debris by Julio Ramos (USA), “Driving Lessons by Marziyeh Riahi (Iran), “Tipped by Alysse Leite-Rogers (Canada), Sylvia by Richard Prendergast (United Kingdom), The Match by Pia Andell (Finland), This Time Away by Magali Barbe (United Kingdom), “Malou by Adi Wojaczek (Germany), A Family Affair by Florence Keith-Roach (United Kingdom), and At The End of The World by Fon Davis (USA).

About the Manhattan Short Film Festival

Manhattan Short is the only film festival of its kind. The Final Ten selections screen simultaneously across the world during a one-week period. Manhattan Short attendees vote for Best Film and Best Actor awards at each participating venue. By virtue of their selection by Manhattan Short, each short film is automatically Oscar-qualified. The Final Ten Manhattan Short finalists hail from seven countries with films from France, Iran, Canada, Finland, and Germany alongside two films from USA and a record three from the United Kingdom.
