Graham named Waynesboro Democratic chair

Chris Graham

From Staff Reports

Augusta Free Press and New Dominion Magazine editor Chris Graham was elected chair of the Waynesboro Democratic Committee Thursday.

Graham was the only candidate running for the chair position. He was elected by a unanimous vote at a special committee meeting held at the Waynesboro Public Library.

Graham replaces Marlana Lewis as the chair of the committee in Waynesboro.

“We can deliver Waynesboro for Mark Warner, Sam Rasoul and for our presidential nominee this November,” Graham said after being elected chair.

Graham is the co-owner of the Downtown Waynesboro-based Augusta Free Press Publishing. He ran unsuccessfully for the Ward B seat on Waynesboro City Council in the May 6 election.
