Fishburne PGs roll over Lynchburg, 105-51

fms-logoZach Lewis (Canisius) scored 19 points on 8-of-12 shooting to lead the Fishburne Military School postgrad basketball team to an easy 105-51 victory over Lynchburg College Monday night.

The PGs led 45-19 at the break and coasted from there, shooting 60 percent from the field and hitting on 10-of-22 three-point attempts.

Zak Kirkbride had 15 points and six rebounds for FMS (15-5). Kuran Iverson (Memphis) had 13 points and four assists, and Greg Session had 10 points.

Maurice Simon had nine points and a team-high seven rebounds, and Chase Cormier had a game-high eight assists.

Fishburne’s next game is Sunday at noon at home against New River Community College.
