Logic to me dictates that Mike London is out at UVa. if his team loses out, finishes 2-10, losing its last nine in the process. Assuming that’s the case, that’s three losing seasons in four, which was enough to get his predecessor, Al Groh, fired.

Almost 300 voting delegates representing 88 county Farm Bureaus statewide will gather next month to help shape Virginia Farm Bureau Federation’s state and federal policies for the coming year. During this year’s VFBF Annual Convention, those delegates will discuss and vote on numerous policies that affect farmers and their livelihoods.

We commend Gov. McDonnell for loosening the Commonwealth’s grip on its felony disenfranchisement law. But we need to do more. We hope that Gov.-elect Terry McAuliffe will build on that progress by establishing a truly automatic restoration process for all Virginia citizens who have lost those voting rights due to a felony conviction.

Stith (Lawrenceville, Va./Oak Hill Academy) and forward Isaiah Wilkins (Lilburn, Ga./Greater Atlanta Christian School) to National Letters of Intent with the Cavaliers.

Democrat Mark Herring is declaring victory and calling himself “attorney general-elect,” but Republican Mark Obenshain isn’t close to throwing in the towel. “No matter what Mark Herring says, with this margin, nobody can predict which of us will be sworn in as Virginia’s next attorney general. It still could go either way. There’s a lot at stake, and I’m not about to give up now,” Obenshain said.
