VPAS Chronic Disease Self-Management Education (CDSME) has exceeded the current grant year goal of having 258 workshop completers with a current total of 272 even though the grant year does not end until Aug. 31. A workshop completer is defined as a participant who attends at least four of six workshop sessions.

Master Magician Peter Monticup will host an evening of prestidigitation by professional magicians. Illusions, mind-reading, transformations and teleportation will all be performed by an all-star cast. This evening of wonder and amazement is family friendly and will be Saturday, April 12th at 7:30 pm at WTA’s Gateway, 329 West Main in downtown Waynesboro.

The Staunton Music Guild has officially opened the 2014 application process for the Ray Houser Scholarship. The scholarship fund was established in 2011 by the Staunton Music Guild in honor of Mr. Houser’s dedication to radio broadcasting, music, and his steadfast commitment towards helping others in his Shenandoah Valley community.
