Tomorrow, Friday, Nov. 20, the Virginia Department of Transportation will be painting the center lines on Interstate 64 west from mile marker 145 in Louisa County to mile marker 126 in Albemarle County.

Overnight lane and off-ramp closures are scheduled for next week at the Interstate 64 interchange at exit 91 (Route 285/Fishersville) in Augusta County. These closures are for milling and paving of the westbound off-ramp. All work is weather permitting.

The Virginia Department of Transportation is lowering the speed limit to 60 miles an hour on part of Interstate 81 northbound and southbound in Frederick County. This change is in the work zone for the exit 310 interchange modification project. Contractors are installing new speed limit signs this week, and the reduction is scheduled to take effect on the afternoon of Friday, October 23.
