WVPT Public Television, serving the Shenandoah Valley and Central and Northern Virginia, announced today the new location for its studio and business offices. The station targets the move to 847 Martin Luther King, Jr. Way, part of the Copperstone Office Complex, to be complete by the end of April.

Due to the appearance of President Barack Obama in Charlottesville, Va., on Monday, Feb. 10, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced that UVa.’s home men’s basketball game with Maryland, originally scheduled for a 7 p.m. tip, has been moved to a 9 p.m. start.

A total of 39 UVa. baseball games will be available on television or through online video broadcasts this season, as the ACC and Virginia each announced their spring broadcasts schedules on Wednesday.
ODU football signs 24 on National Signing Day

ODU football Head Coach Bobby Wilder announced that 24 student-athletes signed on Wednesday to play football for the Monarchs in the fall of 2014. The 24 student-athletes that signed today join the seven commitments that Old Dominion signed at the mid-year period in December.
