The Virginia Department of Transportation and Albemarle County are partnering to host a town hall meeting on tree-trimming work needed along the Route 22/Route 231 corridor from Shadwell to Gordonsville.

The Interstate 64 westbound left lane will be closed at mile marker 110 on Tuesday for emergency shoulder repairs. Between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., traffic will be reduced to one lane at the Mechums River bridge in Albemarle County.

Virginia State Police Trooper P.J.B. Serkes is investigating the two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 12:39 p.m. Tuesday (June 30) in Albemarle County. The crash occurred on Interstate 64 near the 104 mile marker.
