wm-logoWilliam and Mary Director of Athletics Terry Driscoll has announced the release of the Tribe’s 2015 football schedule, which is highlighted by five home games at Zable Stadium and a trip to Atlantic Coast Conference foe Virginia.

The Tribe will begin the 2015 campaign with a tough opening stretch that includes road contests in four of its first five games. After kicking off the season at Lafayette on Sept. 5, W&M will follow its bye week with a trip to Virginia on Sept. 19. It will mark the third time in the last seven years that the Tribe and UVA have met, as the College earned a 26-14 victory in the 2009 opener.

W&M will begin its conference slate when it hosts Stony Brook on Sept. 26 as part of Family Weekend. The contest just the second meeting between the two programs, as the Tribe earned a thrilling comeback overtime triumph at SBU last season.

After a pair of challenging road trips to Delaware (Oct. 3) and Villanova (Oct. 10), W&M will return to Williamsburg for three consecutive home contests against new hampshire (Oct. 17), Hampton (Oct. 24) and James Madison (Oct. 31). The Tribe’s matchup versus Hampton will be its 2015 Homecoming game.

The month of November will include road games at Elon (Nov. 7) and Richmond (Nov. 21) and a home contest versus Towson (Nov. 14). W&M’s matchup with the Spiders will mark the 125th meeting between the two programs.

Kickoff times will be announced at a later date.
