snow-plow-headerThe National Weather Service has forecast 2-4 more inches of snow for Augusta County, Staunton, Waynesboro and most of the Shenandoah Valley and Central Virginia.

The area continues to be under a Winter Storm Warning through 9 p.m. tonight. Snowfall totals in parts of the Valley can eventually approach 24 inches, according to the most recent weather update from the National Weather Service.

The long-range forecast looks much different. By Wednesday of next week, high temperatures in the Valley are forecast to be in the mid-50s, with highs in the low 60s Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
