Wayne Theatre opens March 1 with Sneak Peek Premier

wilson clay wayne theatreOpening Night at the Historic Wayne Theatre Ross Performing Arts Center will feature a performance by Peter Wilson and Aaron Clay.

The Sneak Peek Premier is set for Tuesday, March 1, 7-9 p.m.

Seating is limited for the event. Tickets are $100 per person. Information is online here.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. A reception after the event will take place on the main stage featuring William Hayes on the piano with exclusive back stage tours available following the performance.

 

About the Performers

Wilson is an acclaimed violinist and conductor who is the Music Director of the Waynesboro Symphony Orchestra and Music Director of The Youth Orchestras of Fairfax in Northern Virginia, where he conducts its flagship ensemble, the United Youth Symphony Orchestra.

Clay is a double bassist who joined “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band in July 1994 and was appointed principal in 2013.

Wilson and Clay perform together as a string duo known as Bridging the Gap. They have performed for Senators, Congressmen, and foreign diplomats and have become frequent guests of the Millennium Stage at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and have appeared on the Jazz Series of the Corcoran Gallery of Art.
