UVA baseball plans Welcome Home event Thursday

college world seriesThe UVA athletics department would like to invite the public to celebrate the 2014 Virginia baseball season with the team on Thursday, June 26 from 6-7 p.m. at Davenport Field. Admission and parking for this event are free.

The gates at Davenport Field will open at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.  A highlight video will be shown on ‘Hoo Vison at 6 p.m.  The 2014 team will then be introduced and head coach Brian O’Connor and several players will address the crowd.  A commemorative celebration card will be distributed for free to fans while supplies last. The event will conclude at approximately 7 p.m.

Parking will be available in the University Hall and John Paul Jones Arena parking lots.  Virginia baseball merchandise will be available for sale at Davenport Field and food and beverages will be available to be purchased at the concession stands.
